Viper! a showroom fresh 1995 viper RT in beautiful 90s teal. $30,000.
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
This car is painfully cheap. What is wrong with people? This is a hand built american supercar with a Lamborghini designed v10. Here’s another one, if 400 hp isn’t enough for you:

It’s SO CHEAP JESUS I NEED IT

the price you pay isn’t always what’s listed on the sales receipt.

Buy it for all of us so we can live vicariously through you. It’s your duty to the community, hell, to yourself.

I’d be afraid of the first one due to the low mileage. Those records had better be mint.
The second one I really would love to see in the 90s teal...
But let’s face it: If I wanted something that was not really a daily driver that I’d daily anyhow, I’d stretch to a Tesla Roadster.

eww, electric.

But it’s faster, lighter, better-handling... Cheaper to run, aside from batteries every decade or two. Would run practically forever with minimal maintenance. Embrace the electric.

I’m strongly considering saving for one. We will see how it fits in the life plan, but I may just nab one of these and put off getting a caterham for a decade. Gotta get the job first.

How do you mean? These things are known for being pretty reliable. As long as you don’t need bodywork costs are pretty reasonable as well.
I can imagine insurance sucks ass though.

I just wanted to sound ominous... haha I don’t understand it either.

It ain’t got no soul!. Honestly not concerned with maintenance. My car desires tend to be...... immature in nature. My inner child is a bit of a loudmouth.

Holy shit! If I hadn’t just bought a new truck, I would probably being taking out a used car loan, buying a plane ticket to MN and ordering various new hoses and seals as we speak for that green one.

For some reason these cars got a visit from the depreciation fairy. I ain’t complaining.

Good luck with the job!

It might be lower than you think.

You mean insurance? I know these cars used to have a crash happy reputation, but that may have calmed down on the secondary market.

They’re not worth *that* much anymore though. I want one either way.

Yeah. I only want one as long as they stay this cheap. I would never pay more than maybe 38k for a first gen.

I was looking at them last night, I’ve seen them with low (~20k) miles for $28k.

Are GTSes that cheap?

This is a weird ass comparison site but if you check the numbers the tesla is definitely not faster, except maybe BARELY in 0-60. It would also be soulless in comparison and have way less range and limited fueling locations.
Unless you mean a hypothetical new roadster made by tesla now, which would probably be crazy fast and have decent range.

Generally you are looking at a 10g premium for a gts. Possibly because they sold less. That still means you can get a first gen gts for like 37-42k

Im not an SRT guy but they are the better car and go for pretty cheap now. I would love a GTS though

I’ve always been a convertible kind of guy. I like targas even more.
